It’s estimated that each year approximately 3.7 million dogs and cats are euthanized in our nation’s shelters. That translates to more than 10,000 animals a day. Due to recent economic issues, many shelters have reported a 20% increase in surrendered pets and are reporting similar increases in “economic euthanasia” requested by devastated family members. With your help the Big Dog Fat Cat KDW Shootout will help our local pet population by donating proceeds to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
